How do Frixion pens work?

Frixion pens are the dream pens of people who make mistakes but like the feel of pens. These pen's ink magically disappears when you rub it with the rubber bit at the end of the pen. If you replace this ink with the normal ballpoint ink, the magical property of erasing stops working.

This is how this pen works-
The pen's ink is heat-sensitive unlike other inks in the market. When we 'erase' the ink, we are actually not taking it off the paper; instead, we are making the ink turn transparent. Thus, the ink 'looks' invisible. The 'eraser' is just a piece of rubber that makes friction. This piece of rubber quickly heats the paper up to 60 degrees and thus making the ink invisible. Because paper does not conduct heat, the other ink around the word that you are trying to erase would not be erased. Now there are other ways to erase it: basically, anything that can raise the temperature of the ink to around 60 degrees:  you could use a normal eraser, you could use a hairdryer, you could hold it high above a flame (be careful not to burn the paper, your house or any [part] of yourself), etc. There are unlimited possibilities. To annoy someone, leave their friction pen in the sun- when they write, the ink would be invisible. Also, if you have to sign an agreement with your parents- sign only your name with a frixion and then 'accidentally' take it out in the sun. You won't have to follow the conditions in the agreement. To make the ink re-appear again, put the paper in a freezer and watch the magic happen.

Have fun writing around!
